The Firm also provides legal services in corporate restructuring and insolvency, establishment of various types of joint venture relationships and other forms of commercial collaboration.

 

Highlights of the activities of the Firm in this area also include:

· The Firm has on a yearly basis since 2006 consistently advised the World Bank in the compilation of its ‘World Bank Survey on The Impediments to International Integration- Establishing a Commercial Presence in Ghana’

· Advised Pioneer Goldfields Limited, an external company registered in Ghana but incorporated in Jersey, Channel Islands, on the Ghanaian law aspects in its listing on the London and Ghana Stock Exchange.

· Advised Mantrac in its acquisition and purchase of shares in Tractor and Equipment Ghana Limited from Unilever Ghana Limited.

· It put together a team which acted for Investcom Consortium SA in two minority shareholder right disputes involving the takeover of Investcom Consortium SA Ltd. by the MTN group.

· It was legal counsel to a majority shareholder in a dispute involving breach of fiduciary duty and equitable tracing in a joint venture between a South African soft drink company and its Ghanaian joint venture partners.
